Labrador Retriever Wins Again
March 17th, 2014
AP reports recently, the Amercian Kennel Club announced the Labrador retriever was the nation's most popular dog for a record-breaking 23rd year in a row. Since the organization's founding in 1884, this is the longest a breed has held on to top dog. Holding steady in the top five were German shepherds, golden retrievers, beagles and bulldogs with Yorkshire terriers, boxers, poodles, Rottweilers and dachshunds finishing out the top 10 breeds.
